We are starting off this semester with a tour of Special Collections (Rare Books) on the ninth floor of Memorial Library. Jill Rosenshield, curator and librarian of the collections, will be talking to us about the collection, her role as a librarian in the rare book world, and setting up a special show and tell just for SLA-SC! This is a rare chance to view (and touch!) one of the most valuable collections on campus:
Where: Special Collections -- 9th Floor of Memorial Library (take the designated elevator, to the right of the regular stacks elevator on the first floor, up to floor 9).
When: Monday, October 4 : meet in the lobby (near the elevators on floor 1) of Memorial Library at 11:50 am.
